Robert Fedick Sr., affectionately known as “Hillbilly Bob,” passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2024, in Coudersport, PA, at the age of 76. He was born in June of 1948 in Phoenixville, PA, where he spent his early years.

Bob was a skilled draftsman who contributed to groundbreaking projects within General Electric’s Space Division. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bob was a man of diverse interests. He was passionate about science and nature and found peace in the outdoors, especially when fishing.

An accomplished Boy Scout in his youth, he earned the prestigious Order of the Arrow award.

Bob was known for his unique sense of style, often seen sporting his signature denim overalls and straw hat.

Bob loved Jesus and often spoke of his faith to others. In his 30s, he would visit the Schuylkill Canal and speak the word of God to friends and family. Bob is survived by his loving son, Robert Fedick Jr.; his cherished grandchildren, Eva and Michael; and his sister, Patricia. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
